Congrats on a GREAT season!

The season has come to a close and Brent Cavedo (205 pts) is the WINNER! He wins my undying respect for being the biggest running nerd I know! WHAT A LOSER! j/k. Special thanks to all those who participated this year (even if it was only one meet!). Good luck to UMWXC at regionals this Saturday!

How will we score Elizabethtown

To score this meet, we have decided on a two race system. You will make picks for the 6K race AND the 4K OPEN race. To make it a little easier on you... The runners expected to run in each race are listed below (think of it as a word bank). You will pick the TOP 7 for the 6K, and only the TOP 4 for the 4K. You can just leave the rest of the picks blank, or you can fill them in with your favorite runners (no penalty for filling them in)!! THERE WILL BE NO DFL IN EITHER RACE!

I finally got the results in... It's been a busy weekend here at Beatusoff.

Results are in for Roanoke Invite.

Points have been tabulated for since the meet (the order has changed a ton). As mentioned below, Lebanon Valley does not count for this season.

Changes to scoring!

Scoring rules have changed slightly. The DFL's overall place means more now. The person who correctly chooses the DFL and is the closest person to the actual overall place recieves 7pts. The next closest identifier recieves 6pts and so on. A minumum of 1pt will be assigned for correctly guessing the DFL.

Lebanon Valley WILL NOT COUNT!!!!

Make sure to get your teams in WELL IN ADVANCE for next meet in case the server breaks down again! Official season point scoring will take effect at Roanoke.

How it works:

You pick a top 7 and DFL (Dead Last) for UMW XC and win points based on how close you get.

You can set up your entire season right now, if you'd like. Your predictions do not become final until midnight of race day.

Scoring System:

[Top 7] 7 pts for a perfectly correct position.
[Top 7] 6 pts for guessing a runner one position away, 5 pts for two away and so on.
[Top 7] -1 pts for incorrectly placing a runner in the top 7.
[DFL] 7 pts for correctly identifying the DFL and the closest guess of overall place for the DFL. 6 pts for the next closest identifier and so on.
[DFL] Minumum of 1 pt for correctly identifying DFL.
[DFL] No Penalty for incorrectly identifying DFL.
Point are accumulated over the course of the season and the individual with the most points wins.
There is no penalty for not guessing, however, after midnight on race day, you may not add or modify your guesses.
